A Hungarian born, international artist, Elizabeth is a sculptor and painter who has been exhibiting globally for 35+ years. Her sculptures are easily recognizable with their tension between smooth and rough surfaces, while painting is where she shows her optimism, vibrancy and love of colour.

Growing up in Szombathely, Hungary a city with a 2,000 year old history, made a lifelong impression on her. In 1979, she carved her first sculpture in stone, which became her ultimate form of expression.

Elizabeth, a self-taught artist has a keen interest in the beauty, spirit and harmony of the human form. Whether abstract or classical, her work exudes sensuality and tension between smooth and rough surfaces. She often chooses awkwardly-shaped pieces of stone rejected by other artists, carving directly into the natural stone with its imperfections. Most pieces feature Elizabeth’s trademark touch: the raw, jagged edges of unfinished material contrasted with serene, smooth feminine lines.  

Elizabeth sees the world through colours, which have a profound impact on her mood. Her choice of colours express her mood as it relates to what she is experiencing personally, as well as what is going on in the world.
